This movie amuses me to no end. But I also think it's a visually striking film, so ... icons. This is the first set out of two three, for I stopped once I got part way through "Masquerade" because of giggling fits.

8. Erm, actually from that deleted scene. My screencaps were a wee bit out of order. And doesn't Madame Giry mention his name in the stage musical? Yet poor Erik remains 'the Phantom' in the film.

12. Because you know Raoul's hair must decrease his intelligence level. "Christine, I love ... you?"
18. Why do Raoul and Christine not wear masks during "Masquerade" while everyone does? Just wondering.
