Here, have a healthy helping of Jane Austen adaptations.
[18] Mansfield Park
[6] Persuasion, Pride & Prejudice, and Sense & Sensibility
+
Jane Austen set:
Credits:
1-16. Mansfield Park. For all its deviations from Austen's novel, I rather love this adaptation. The camera angles are interesting, and I like the concept of a spunkier, more Austen-like Fanny Price.
1,4,5, 19-24. All entered in various
austen_stills challenges. #4 and #20 both won 3rd place in separate challenges.
17. The 1983 BBC miniseries of Mansfield Park.
18. An illustration of Henry Crawford and Fanny Price by Hugh Thomson.
19-20. Sense & Sensibility (mostly).
21. Pride & Prejudice (2005).
22-24. Persuasion.
Comment. Credit. Enjoy!

Date: 2006-05-23 03:00 am (UTC)Hmm, blurriness ... after you resize the screencaps for your icons, do you sharpen them? That could be the problem. If I resize a cap to 50% it's original size, I usually end up sharpening at 50% - that gives the images sharpness without too much pixellation. Mostly, I just pick my sharpening percentage to fit how much I resized the cap: 50-50, 75-75, etc.
:D
