Eee! I love everything to do with The Scarlet Pimpernel (show, book, movie, action figures...if they made them). I'm going to swipe the last one because it's beautiful! :)

Hurrah! I just reread the book last week, and began fangirling Percy immediately - much to the annoyance of my mother. (Also, amazon.com has a "4-for-3 book sale" right now, so I allowed myself to be suckered into buying The Elusive Pimpernel, even though I only wanted Eldorado. Bah.)

I'm glad you like them! :D I found the musical highly addictive, so I hope it doesn't drain away your sanity too.

Thanks! I am unfortunately a Percy fangirl of the highest degree (although I must admit that one of the sequels made me a little fond of Chauvelin).

They should make action figures ... at the very least, I'd buy them. Or dolls might be more fun. Then, I could dress Percy and Marguerite in pretty clothes, and make Chauvelin chase them around in all black. With some young fops too.

Hee, I'm rambling. I'll head off to bed now, and just add that I'm so glad you liked the last one. (Marguerite is v. lovely.) :)

I'm a Percy fangirl too....and I have to admit to a secret crush on Ian McKellen's Chauvelin. I still haven't gotten my hands on the sequels but I've read the first one too many times to count. And dolls would be fantastic! If they'd really do the costumes justice, I'd probably NEED them too. :)
